China's moon probe lands back on Earth - state media

Sci Technology News/ World News:  China’s Chang’e-5 moon probe has landed in the northern Chinese region of Inner Mongolia, the official Xinhua news agency reported, completing its return to Earth and bringing back the first lunar samples since the 1970s.

The return capsule touched down in the Siziwang, or Dorbod, banner of Inner Mongolia, in the early hours of Thursday local time, Xinhua said, citing the China National Space Administration.

China launched the Chang’e-5 spacecraft on Nov. 24 and landed a vehicle on the moon at the start of December.

The success of the mission would make China only the third country to have retrieved lunar samples after the United States and the Soviet Union, who 44 years ago launched the last successful mission to retrieve samples.

The plan was to collect 2 kg (4.41 lbs) of samples, although how much was eventually gathered has yet to be disclosed.

NASA Publishes Plan to Land First Woman on Moon in 2024

 On Monday, NASA officially announced that a woman would set foot on the moon for the first time in 2024. NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstein said that NASA has decided to land a female and a male astronaut on the moon in 2024. His preparations are already underway.

According to NASA administrators, NASA is arranging the lunar mission to conduct scientific research on the lunar soil, collect minerals from the lunar soil, bring it to Earth and make it economically viable.

Neil Armstrong was the first person to land on the moon on July 20, 1989. after that,the united states organized six more missions until 1982. However, the 12 other astronauts who landed on the moon through this mission were all men. As a result, for the first time in 2024, a woman is going to land on the moon.

Participants in the 2024 lunar mission will land at the moon's south pole. The mission will cost NASA about 28 billion. the cost of building the lunar landing module will be 160 million. Construction of lunar landing modules is underway in three separate projects. The astronauts, including the lander, will land on the moon in the Orion spacecraft. Before that, scientists will test Orion's flight experimentally in November 2021.

August 12 this year marks the centenary of Vikram Sarabhai. ISRO got these pictures in that atmosphere. Naturally happy air in all floors. Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Jitendra Singh says it is a tribute to a scientist like Sarabhai. He added that ISRO's findings would once again show how important ISRO's role is on the space research map.

This Sarabhai crater is located at a distance of 250-300 km from the crater where the Apello 16 and Luna 21 missions landed.

The image of Sarabhai Crater sent by ISRO is a 3D image showing the slope of 25-35 degrees, formed by lava. Its depth is one and a half kilometers.

According to ISRO, the information that Chandrayaan 2 has been sending is invaluable. ISRO will release this information to astronauts around the world in October 2020.

India's Chandrayaan-2 Vikram started moving towards the south of the moon on July 22 last year. On September 6, Vikram fell face down on the moon. Death is also the dream of the first step south of the Indian moon.
