IPL 2020: Bangalore, batting first, scored 131 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.

In response, the Hyderabad team scored 132 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 19.4 overs.

Winner Hyderabad will now face Delhi Capitals on November 8 in Qualifier-2

The IPL dreams of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captained by Virat Kohli has come to an end with the defeat of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Abu Dhabi IPL-2020 eliminator . The Bangalore team once again lost its title dream. Hyderabad, on the other hand, will face Delhi Capitals in Qualifier-2.

Bangalore, batting first, scored 131 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the Hyderabad team came out to chase the target of 132 runs and scored 132 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 19.4 overs. In between the falling wickets, two international team captains Kane Williamson and Jason Holder took the lead and shared an unbeaten 65 runs to give the team a 6-wicket win.

Kane Williamson remained unbeaten on 50 from 44 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes, while Jason Holder unbeaten with the help of 3 fours in 20 balls. Winning innings of 24 runs. On the other hand, Mohammad Siraj took two wickets for Bangalore, while Jampa and Chahal took one wicket each.

The target was not too big to SRH and then Royal Challengers Bangalore also started well. His fast bowler Mohammad Siraj caught Srivats Goswami (0) off AB de Villiers on the fourth ball of the first over. Goswami joined the team when Wriddhiman Saha was injured. However, after this, captain David Warner and Manish Pandey together shared a 41-run partnership.

DRS's decision against Warner

The partnership looked to be growing as Mohammad Siraj caught the second opener David Warner at the hands of AB de Villiers and gave the team a big break through. The decision was taken by the DRS, but the third umpire did not appear to agree completely that the ball was touched by Warner's bat. Warner scored 17 runs in 17 balls.

After Manish Pandey and Priyam were out,Hyderabad looked under pressure and the team's half-century was completed when Manish Pandey (24) was caught by AB de Villiers in the spin of Adam Jampa. He hit 3 fours and a six in 21 balls. Young Priyam Garg (7) could not do anything special and Yuzvendra Chahal succumbed. Now the score is 67 for 4 wickets. Bangalore was seen returning here. Jason Holder then led off the inning with Kane Williamson.

The last two overs required were 18 runs

Hyderabad's score was 114 runs after 18 overs, while Kane Williamson and Jason Holder were on the field. Mohammad Siraj, who came to the 19th over, scored 9 runs including a four. In this way, 9 runs from 6 balls were required to win in the last over. The ball was to Navdeep Saini. On the first ball, Kane Williams completed his half-century with a single, while the second ball was a dot ball, while after two consecutive fours in two balls, the holder gave Hyderabad the victory.

Holder and Natarajan's awesome, RCB could reach 131

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad stunned Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for 131 for 7 with the fatal bowling of Jason Holder and T Natarajan. Holder took three important wickets for 25 runs while Natarajan took two wickets for 33 runs, including the wicket of AB de Villiers (56 off 43 balls, five fours) which he bowled on the yorker. Apart from de Villiers, Aaron Finch (32 off 30 balls, three fours, one six) was able to contribute something for RCB. For Sunrisers, both spinners Rashid Khan (4 overs 22 runs) and Shahbaz Nadeem (one wicket for 30 runs) and fast bowler Sandeep Sharma (four overs 21 runs) also bowled tightly.

Virat and Devadatta came for opening

RCB lost the toss first and then lost the wickets of skipper Virat Kohli (six) and in-form Devadatta Padikkal (one) as opener in front of Holder's lethal bowling. There was some grass in the pitch and Holder took full advantage of the bounce he was getting. Srivatsa Goswami, who was picked in the team in place of injured Wriddhiman Saha, took a beautiful catch of Kohli, while Paddikal caught Priyam Garg at midwicket in Holder's next over. The score was 15 and both openers were in the pavilion. Finch was out after a good start, Moin could not open the account

Due to this RCB could reach Powerplay for 32 runs only. Finch and de Villiers were at the crease but in the tenth over of the innings the only six, Finch hit Rashid Khan. With this Finch also completed his 2000 runs in IPL. Despite this, the score was 54 for two after ten overs and the pressure on the batsmen was palpable. The effect was that Finch gave Nadeem a waving catch in the next over in an attempt to increase the run pace, while Rashid's efficient fielding forced new batsman Moeen Ali to return immediately.

De Villiers hit the first boundary, facing the 20th ball. He completed his half-century with the help of a fifth four off 39 balls but was not helped from the other end. Shivam Dubey (eight off 13 balls) made the third victim by Holder while Natarajan first dismissed Washington Sundar (five) and then took the wicket of De Villiers on a beautiful yorker. Mohammad Siraj (10 not out) was the third batsman to reach double digits. Navdeep Saini remained unbeaten after scoring nine runs.

Stoinis 'belligerent innings, the half-century put on for Delhi by Marcus Stoinis' 65 runs. If he did not settle at the crease, the difference of Delhi's defeat could have been quite large. Captain Shreyas Iyer (12) of Delhi was caught by Jasprit Bumrah in the hands of Rohit. Iyer hit 3 fours in his 8-ball innings. Delhi's fourth wicket fell on the 5th ball of the fourth over. After this, wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant (3) had expectations that he would play resiliently but in the course of playing a big shot off the ball of Krunal Pandya, he caught Suryakumar, causing Delhi's 5th wicket to fall to a team score of 41.

Hardik's blitz In the death overs, Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 37 off 14 balls with the help of five sixes, which helped Mumbai collect 55 runs in the last three overs. Kishan and Hardik added 60 runs

Ishaan Kishan and Hardik Pandya scored fast runs in the end. Both of them beat the Delhi bowlers fiercely and eventually shared a 60-run partnership from 23 balls. Two of Delhi's leading bowlers, Kagiso Rabada (42 runs, no wickets) and Enrique Nortje (one wicket for 50 runs), conceded 92 runs in eight overs.

Rohit flopped again, Pavilion returned without opening account

In the IPL, 20 of the last 26 matches have been won by the team batting later and so Iyer did not take any time to hand the bat to Delhi by winning the toss. In the first over of Daniel Symes, Di Cock scored 15 runs with the help of three fours but Rohit Sharma failed in his second consecutive match after recovering from injury. Ashwin lbw Rohit lbw on a beautiful off break. Rohit equaled the record of Harbhajan Singh and Parthiv Patel in the IPL, having been out for zero 13 times.

Suryakumar's 100th IPL Match, 11th Fifty

De Kock maintained his aggressive temper and he was supported by new batsman Suryakumar, leading Mumbai to 63 for one in the Powerplay. Suryakumar hit Ashwin with two sixes on target but the off-spinner forced De Kock to take a waving catch in the air. Di Cock hit five fours and a six. Nortje sent Suryakumar to the pavilion who completed a half-century with a visible four at midwicket before being caught at the boundary line. Suryakumar scored his fourth half of the season and his 11th half-century in the 100th IPL match.

Kishan completed Fifty on the last ball

Ashwin did not even let Pollard open the account. Kishan changed gears after this. Kishan's six on the deep square leg at Rabada was visible. Krunal also hit an easy catch on the ball of Marcus Stoinis after hitting a six over Nortje. Hardik and Kishan hit sixes in Sam's 18th over. Hardik spoiled his bowling analysis by hitting two sixes off Rabada and Norte. Kishan completed his half-century by sending the last ball of Nortje's innings for a six. He scored his fourth half of this season and his 7th IPL career.

By then Suryakumar Yadav also returned to the pavilion with 36 runs.

All in all, the batting line-up of the Mumbai Indians fell on deaf ears. The lack of Hardik Pandya became very clear in this match. Sourav Tiwary was out for 1 run. IPL 2020: The current IPL tour of Virat Kohli & Company looked as shaky as the start. Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore face off at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday to finalize the play-offs. Shreyas Iyer, the captain of Delhi Capitals, had the last laugh in the fight for the 2nd place in the points table.

Delhi Capitals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets in Abu Dhabi. Delhi captain Shreyas won the toss. But despite winning the toss, he decided to field first. In the first innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and scored 152 runs. In reply, Delhi Capitals lost 4 wickets in 19 overs and won the match by 154 runs.

Delhi's batting line-up looks shaky from day one. Opener Josh Philip was out for just 12 runs. However, another opener Devdutt Padikkal was continuing the game in his glory. Then Bangalore captain Virat Kohli was dismissed for 29 off 24 balls. AB de Villiers tried to catch the match but was run out at 35. At that time the Devdutt Padikkal made a half century. But Devdutt was out for 50 runs. And that is why the huge team fell in front of a great danger. Everyone from Chris Morris to Shivam Dubey , Isuru Udana went back to the pavilion at the speed of a storm. Bangalore lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and scored only 152 runs, which is like a kind of sniff for Delhi! Delhi's Anrich Nortje and Ravichandran Ashwin bowled brilliantly on the day. This is the first time Ashwin has taken a wicket from Virat Kohli in the IPL. Nortje took 3 wickets and Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets.

Delhi, on the other hand, lost the wicket of Prithvi Shaw in 1 over 4 balls. And then Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan took the helm of the match. The two also formed a 100-run partnership. The good news for Delhi is that Ajinkya Rahane returned to the run after a long absence. Shikhar Dhawan also batted well on this day. However, Gabbar was dismissed for 54 off 41 balls. Rahane, on the other hand, returned to the pavilion for 60 off 48 balls.

Delhi captain Shreyas Iyer was also dismissed for just six runs. However, both Rahane and Gabbar paved the way for winning the match. In the end, Rishabh Panth and Marcus Stoinis led Delhi to victory in 19 overs. Like the batting, the bowlers of Bangalore could not look at the bowling on this day. Mohammad Siraj and Washington Sundar took 1 wicket each and Shahbaz Ahmed took 2 wickets.

After winning this match, Delhi Capitals secured the 2nd position in the table with 16 points. There are no more obstacles in front of Shreyas' team. Delhi also reached the play-offs. However, the most shocking thing is that even after losing this match, Royal Challengers Bangalore took a place in the play-offs. And the only reason is the net run rate (NRR).

Despite Delhi win the match on today, they had to play more than 17overs and 2balls, That is why the RCB went ahead of Kolkata Knight Riders in net run rate. If Delhi Capitals had won today's match in 15 overs, Bangalore's play-off would not have been ready. That means Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore have reached the play-offs at the moment. Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad will have to fight for the fourth place.

IPL 2020: Pushed to the wall, Sunrisers Hyderabad produced a clinical performance to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets and stay alive within the Indian Premier League play-off race on Saturday.

SRH first produced an excellent bowling effort to limit a batting-heavy RCB to a modest 120 for seven then chased down the target in 14.1 overs to zoom to fourth spot in the standings from seventh.

SRH now have 12 points from 13 games and need to win their last league game against table-toppers Mumbai Indians to remain within the hunt.

RCB, who needed a win to seal their play-offs berth, slumped to their third consecutive defeat within the tournament but stayed at second place within the table with 14 points from 13 games.

The 121-run target was always getting to be a enter the park for SRH during a small ground like Sharjah unless RCB inflicted early damage which they did not do.

RCB removed SRH skipper David Warner (8) early but they needed more wickets upfront to be within the contest.

After Warner's dismissal, Wriddhiman Saha and Manish Pandey (26 off 19) shared 50 runs for the second wicket in pace to require control of the chase.

But some brilliant spin bowling from Yuzvendra Chahal within the middle overs and over cautious batting from SRH gave RCB outside hope.

Chahal dismissed Pandey and Saha then Kane Williamson (8) was sent back by Isuru Udana to give RCB a ray of hope albeit the competition was tilted considerably in favour of SRH.

Jason Holder played a 10-ball 26-run cameo towards the top to require SRH home comfortably.

Earlier, SRH strangled RCB by learning wickets at regular intervals after opting to bowl.

Young Devdutt Padikkal (5) and skipper Virat Kohli (7) departed in quick succession, falling to Sandeep Sharma (2/20). Sandeep has now dismissed Kohli for a record seven times in IPL.

AB de Villiers made a run-a-ball 24 before perishing then Josh Philippe (32) again got a start but did not capitalise. He was caught by Manish Pandey off Rashid Khan (1/24) within the next over as RCB slumped to 76 for four in 11.4 overs.

RCB were wiped out by some incisive bowling from SRH bowlers upfront, leading to lack of partnerships, which is significant for any team to post an honest total on the board.

RCB's struggle with the bat are often gauged from the very fact that they hit only nine boundaries and a six in their entire innings despite having the likes of Padikkal, Kohli, De Villers and Chris Morris up their ranks.

After the first blows, Washington Sundar (21) and Gurkeerat Singh (15 not out) tried to resurrect the innings with a 30-run fifth-wicket stand but they never got the momentum.

Towards the end, both Sundar and Morris departed in quick succession to add misery to RCB's woes.

It was a clinical performance from SRH bowlers as RCB batsmen struggled to get going after the early dismissals.

Jason Holder too shone bright with the ball with figures of two for 27 from his four overs.

In the match, due to the fatal bowling of Jason Holder (33/3), Hyderabad held Rajasthan to 154 for 6 wickets. Hyderabad then lost the wickets of both their openers for just 16 runs, but Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar called Chulbul Pandey shared an unbeaten 140-run partnership for the third wicket to give Hyderabad an easy win. Manish Pandey scored an unbeaten 83 from 47 balls with the help of 4 fours and 8 sixes, while Vijay Shankar faced 51 balls while hitting 6 fours during his unbeaten 52 runs.

Chasing the target of 155 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad got an early setback and Jofra Archer gave Rajasthan a decent start, walking both openers. On the fourth ball of the first over, David Warner was caught by Ben Stokes on a personal score of 4, then Johnny Bairstow was bowled cleanly on the next ball of the third over of the innings. He scored 10 runs.

After this Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar took the front. Manish Pandey hit Karthik Tyagi who came to the sixth over, hitting two sixes and a four in one over, and took the team to 50 runs. After this, he completed his third half century in IPL -2020 in just 28 balls with Shreyas Gopal's single in the 9th over. At the other end, Vijay Shankar also caught the rhythm and opened hands with two consecutive fours to Shreyas Gopal.

Manish Pandey was seen batting in a different style. He hit sixes over fours. In this innings, he took fierce news of the bowlers of the opposition team. From Shreyas Gopal to Ankit Rajput, he scored a lot of runs. Both of them added 140 runs for the third wicket to give Hyderabad the victory.

In front of the disciplined bowling of Sunrisers Hyderabad, none of the Rajasthan Royals batsmen could play a big innings and scored 154 runs for 6 wickets. Most of the Royals batsmen lost their wickets after spending enough time at the crease. For him, Sanju Samson (36 off 26 balls) scored the most runs while Ben Stokes scored a struggling 30 off 32 balls. Jason Holder, playing his first match in the current season, took three wickets for 33 runs for Sunrisers while Rashid (1 for 20) and Vijay Shankar (15 runs, 3 wickets in three overs) bowled well.

Robin Uthappa (19 off 13 balls) looked in good rhythm but was run out in an effort to take the run meaninglessly. The timing of the second opener Stokes was not right and looking at their struggle it seemed that they were not tempted to start the innings. Luck was definitely supporting Stokes. His shot waving in the air twice fell slightly beyond the reach of the fielder while once Vijay Shankar dropped a catch in his hand. Finally Rashid Khan bowled him at leg break.

Samson looked ready to recover from the previous matches' failure. Both his fours on Sandeep Sharma were typical style. After this, he guessed the length of the holder's ball well and hit a beautiful six. Holder's next ball was offcutter on which Samson missed and bowled. Rashid and Vijay Shankar kept the batsmen tied in the middle overs. 47 runs were scored in the first six overs but the Royals reached triple digits in the 15th over.

Jose Butler (nine off 12 balls) was eyeing after Samson and Stokes were dismissed on the same score but he too did not look comfortable at any point. Shankar catches him at point. Holder caught captain Steve Smith (19 off 15 balls) and Ryan Parag (20 off 12 balls) at the boundary line in the 19th over. Joffra Archer finally scored a valuable 16 off seven balls, including a six off Natarajan's last ball.

IPL 2020: Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets in the 39th match of IPL-13 played at Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Stadium. Batting first in the match, KKR had scored 84 runs for 8 wickets, which was the lowest score of the season and overall the second lowest score of KKR. King Khan, the KKR batsman owned by Shah Rukh Khan, could not survive in front of the Bangalore bowlers including Man of the Match Mohammad Siraj and Yuzvendra Chahal. In reply, Bangalore won by losing 2 wickets in 13.3 overs.

Virat Kohli scored 18 not out from 17 balls, while Gurkirat Man Singh scored 21 runs from 26 balls. With this win, Bangalore's team has reached second in the points table with 14 points from 10 matches and 7 wins. He overtook Mumbai Indians (12 points). On the other hand, KKR's team remains at number four after the 5th defeat in 10 matches.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore held Kolkata Knight Riders to their lowest score of the season due to their superb bowling. Kolkata could only manage 84 runs after losing eight wickets after playing 20 overs. Only four of his bats could barely touch the double figures. Mohammad Siraj, who replaced Shahbaz Ahmed in this match, gave Bangalore the best start of the season so far.

Siraj brought out Kolkata under pressure by dismissing Rahul Tripathi (1) and Nitish Rana (0) on two successive balls. In the next over, Navdeep Saini caught Shubman Gill (1) in the hands of Chris Maurice. Then Siraj, who brought his next over, dismissed Kolkata's Tom Benton (10) in this match, and made Kolkata score 15/4.

Kolkata scored just 17 runs in the Pawarplay. Captain Ian Morgan and Dinesh Karthik (4) were now the team's weight, but Kohli's biggest weapon Yuzvendra Chahal first made Karthik his victim, then the umpire gave Pat Cummins LBW on his ball, but Cummins reviewed Laya therefore survived. Cummins survived here but Chahal finally trapped Cummins in his trick on the third ball in the 13th over. Cummins could score only four runs.

Chahal's partner off-spinner Washington Sundar then broke Morgan's back to dismiss Morgan. Morgan scored 30 runs. Kuldeep Yadav (12) and Lockie Ferguson (19 not out) tried to take the team beyond the 100 but could not succeed. For Kolkata, Siraj took three, Chahal two, Saini and Sundar took one wicket each.

Bangalore team started off to chase very easy target. Opener Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch added 46 runs in 6.4 overs. During this time, Devdutt was seen in rhythm and KKR's strategy was also incomprehensible. Lockie Ferguson, who won the last match, did not give the bowling in the powerplay.

When Lockie got the ball in the 7th over, he gave Aaron Finch the first success by catching Aaron Finch in the hands of Dinesh Karthik. Finch scored 16 runs in 21 balls. Devdutt Padikkal was also run out on the fourth ball of the same over. He scored 25 runs in 17 balls with the help of 3 fours. After this, Virat Kohli and Gurkeerat Mann did not allow RCB to take any blow.

IPL 2020: Shikhar Dhawan's second consecutive century faded in front of the stormy half-century innings of Nicholas Pooran, on which Kings XI Punjab kept their hopes alive after beating Delhi Capitals by five wickets here on Tuesday despite a poor start. With an unbeaten 106 off 61 from Dhawan in excellent form, Delhi won the toss and scored 164 for five wickets. Dhawan hit 12 fours and three sixes, but none other than him reached 20 runs.

The failure of the rest of Delhi batsmen cost him heavily as there was no disturbance in the pitch. In such a situation, despite Chris Gayle (29 off 13 balls), Punjab had lost three of their key batsmen to 56 runs. Puran took over here and scored 53 runs from 28 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes. Glenn Maxwell (32 off 24 balls) also contributed significantly. Punjab scored 167 for five wickets in 19 overs. Delhi's fielding was not good, which Punjab took advantage of. This is Punjab's fourth win in ten matches, taking it to eight points and finishing fifth. Delhi have their third defeat, but are still on top with 14 points.

Punjab also did not have a good start. Captain KL Rahul (15) returned to the pavilion in the third over, playing the wrong shot on Axar Patel. Gayle scored 26 runs in the fifth over of Tushar Deshpande's innings with the help of two sixes and three fours, but Ravichandran Ashwin scattered his balls as soon as he came. Mayank Agarwal (5) was also injured as he was run out in a scuffle with Puran. After this, Puran took over the responsibility. Deshpande's line and length, which had an impact in the last two matches, was not correct. Puran sent Stoinis to the ball for six runs after hitting six and two fours. He hit a four off Rabada to complete his half-century off 27 balls, but the next ball kissing his gloves reached Rishabh Pant. He shared a 69-run partnership with Maxwell.

Now Maxwell had a responsibility. He made his innings easy, but when the team was 18 runs away from the target, he gave a waving catch to Rabada's ball. Rabada took two wickets for 27 runs. Deepak Hooda 15 and James Neesham 10 not out. Neesham scored the winning six over Daniel Symes, who was included in the playing XI in place of Enrich Noortje. Earlier, fast bowlers Mohammad Shami (2 for 28) and spinners Glenn Maxwell (1 for 31), Murugan Ashwin (1 for 33) and Ravi Bishnoi (24 runs from three overs) did not allow the rest of the batsmen to play freely, But he did not have one in front of Dhawan.

Dhawan, who scored an unbeaten 101 against Chennai Super Kings, became the first batsman to score a century in consecutive matches in the IPL. Prithvi Shaw (seven) failed to reach double digits in the fourth consecutive match, while Dhawan scored 50 or more in the innings in the fourth consecutive match. He is the sixth batsman to achieve this feat in the IPL. His timing was accurate and his shots were excellent.

Dhawan hit three fours in Shami's over to put pressure on the bowlers. He also became the fifth batsman to complete 5000 runs in this T20 league with a six imposed on Bishnoi. He completed a century off 57 balls and scored the highest score of his career. Dhawan played this innings while wickets were falling at regular intervals from the other end. Captain Shreyas Iyer (14 off 12 balls) gave his wicket in the prize. Rishabh Pant (14 runs off 20 balls), who recovered from injury, was seen struggling to score as long as he was at the crease. Marcus Stoinis (nine) also failed to support Dhawan in the death overs. Shimron Hetmyer (10) returned to the pavilion on the last ball.
