IPL 2020 Final: MI vs DC: Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals 5 wickets

IPL 2020 Final: Rohit Sharma's 68 and Trent Boult's 3/30 - including two wickets in his first two overs - helped Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by five wickets in the final of Indian Premier League 2020. Chasing 157 to win, Mumbai got 33 off the first three overs as Quinton de Kock tore into the Delhi bowlers. He was dismissed by Marcus Stoinis but Rohit carried on to hit a match-defining fifty and stitched crucial partnerships with de Kock (20), Suryakumar Yadav (19) and Ishan Kishan (33 not out) to keep Mumbai in control. Earlier, Shreyas Iyer (65 not out) and Rishabh Pant (56) helped Delhi score 156 for 7 after they were 22 for 3 at one stage. Boult got three while Nathan Coulter-Nile got two wickets for Mumbai.

IPL 2020: In the first qualifier of the 13th season in Dubai, Mumbai scored a big score of 200 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs, after which Delhi's team was able to score 143 runs for 8 wickets.

Record four-time champions Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 57 runs in the first qualifier of IPL-13 and went straight to the final. On Thursday in Dubai, Mumbai scored a big score of 200 for 5 wickets in 20 overs, after which the Delhi team could only manage 143 runs after losing 8 wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav (51) and Ishan Kishan (55 *) scored half-centuries for Mumbai, while opener Quinton de Kock scored 40 and Hardik scored an unbeaten 37. Chasing a target of 201 runs, Delhi all-rounder Marcus Stoynis smashed 65 runs. At the same time, Mumbai's star pacer Jasprit Bumrah took the maximum 4 wickets for just 13 runs.

Delhi will get one more chance

Mumbai set 201 target in front of 

Delhi despite the setbacks from experienced Ravichandran Ashwin, Mumbai Indians scored a strong 200 for 5 with the help of half-centuries from Suryakumar Yadav and Ishaan Kishan. Ashwin took three wickets for 29 runs but meanwhile Quinton de Kock (40 off 25 balls), Suryakumar (51 off 38 balls, six fours, two sixes) and Kishan (55 not out 30 balls, four fours, three sixes) Played useful innings.

Captain Shreyas Iyer (12) of Delhi was caught by Jasprit Bumrah in the hands of Rohit. Iyer hit 3 fours in his 8-ball innings. Delhi's fourth wicket fell on the 5th ball of the fourth over. After this, wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant (3) had expectations that he would play resiliently but in the course of playing a big shot off the ball of Krunal Pandya, he caught Suryakumar, causing Delhi's 5th wicket to fall to a team score of 41.

Hardik's blitz In the death overs, Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 37 off 14 balls with the help of five sixes, which helped Mumbai collect 55 runs in the last three overs. Suryakumar scored his fourth half of the season and his 11th half-century in the 100th IPL match.

Kishan completed Fifty on the last ball

Ashwin did not even let Pollard open the account. Kishan changed gears after this. Kishan's six on the deep square leg at Rabada was visible. Krunal also hit an easy catch on the ball of Marcus Stoinis after hitting a six over Nortje. Hardik and Kishan hit sixes in Sam's 18th over. IPL 2020: The 51st match of the Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL 2020) was played between the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Delhi got the fourth blow in the form of Marcus Stoinis, who scored 2 runs and was caught by Dickock off Jaspreet Bumrah. The fifth success was brought to Mumbai by Bumrah, who lbw Rishabh Pant for a score of 21 runs. Delhi's sixth wicket fell as Harshal Patel, who became a victim of Jasprit Bumrah by scoring 5 runs. As the seventh wicket, Shimron Hetmyer returned to the pavilion, scoring 11 runs.

Delhi Capitals' eighth wicket fell as R Ashwin, who scored 12 runs, caught by Krunal Pandya off Trent Boult. Kagiso Rabada was dismissed as the 9th wicket, who could score 12 runs. Rabada was run out on the last ball of the innings, while Praveen Dubey was unbeaten on 7 runs.


Hardik Pandya rested, Rahane out of playing XI

The Mumbai team has made two changes for this match. While Hardik Pandya has been rested, James Pattinson is also out of the playing eleven for this match. In place of these two, Nathan-Coulter Nile and Jayant Yadav have got a chance in the last eleven. At the same time, Prithvi Shaw and Harshal Patel are back in the Delhi team, while Praveen Dubey made his debut in IPL. Ajinkya Rahane, Tusshar Deshpande and Akshar Patel will not play in this match.

Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Virat Kohli, by 5 wickets in the 48th match of IPL-13 on Wednesday. With this stunning victory at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, Mumbai had 16 points and came close to securing a place in the playoffs. Mumbai points remain at the top of the table.

In the absence of an injured Rohit, Kieran Pollard won the toss and invited Bangalore to bat first. Bangalore scored 164 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Mumbai achieved this target by losing 5 wickets in 19.1 overs.

Mumbai's 8th win in 12 matches. At the same time, RCB suffered the 5th defeat in as many matches. The team is second in the IPL 2020 points table with 14 points .

Mumbai's star batsman Suryakumar Yadav completed his third half-century of the season with just 29 balls. He hit a brilliant three fours in the 13th over of Pacer Dale Steyn's innings. In the very next over, Chahal also hit a four and then completed a half-century with a four off the first ball of the 16th over of Siraj's innings. In the same over, Surya hit three fours on Siraj too. He returned unbeaten after scoring 79 runs. Surya hit 10 fours and 3 sixes in his innings of 43 balls. Apart from them, Hardik Pandya scored 17 off 15 balls with 2 sixes, Krunal scored 10 runs with the help of 1 fours in 19 balls and Kieran Pollard scored 4 not out.


Mumbai a good start , Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan gave Mumbai a good start and added 37 runs in 5.2 overs. Quinton (18) was caught by Pacer Mohammad Siraj at the hands of Gurkeerat Singh Mann. He hit 1 six off 19 balls. After this, Kishan (25) was caught by Yuzvendra Chahal in the hands of Chris Morris. Kishan hit 3 fours and 1 six off 19 balls.

Royal Challengers Bangalore's batsmen could not survive, except for Devdutt Padikkal (74), and Virat Kohli's team scored 164 wickets losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Bumrah performed brilliantly, taking three wickets for just 14 runs in four overs.

Mumbai captain Kieran Pollard won the toss and decided to field first. For RCB, Padikkal scored 74 runs in 45 balls with the help of 12 fours and a six. Devdutt hit his fourth half-century of the season. He added 71 for the first wicket with Josh Phillip (33). After this RCB's middle order collapsed and the Mumbai bowlers kept the pressure on.

In the 27th match of IPL 2020, Rohit Sharma (Rohit Sharma) captained team won by 5 wickets and reached the top of the points table on the basis of run-rate with 10 points. Mumbai's team started off chasing average targets and it was a poor start. Captain Rohit Sharma (5) was caught at the boundary line by Kagiso Rabada on the ball of Akshar Patel in the wake of taking a big hit. In this way, Rohit, who played his 150th match for Mumbai, could not do anything special with the bat.

However, Rohit's dismissal did not have much effect on Quinton de Kock. He hit Norte for two sixes in an over after putting Ashwin on six. Quinton de Kock completed the half century, hitting a four on the fourth wicket of the 9th over. This was his second fifty in his last 3 matches. Mumbai needed 7 runs to win in the last over to win and they won the match with two balls to spare. Krunal Pandya gave Marcus Stoinis a winning four. Pollard 11 and Krunal Pandya 12 not out.

Delhi Capitals scored 162 for four against Mumbai Indians. Shikhar Dhawan scored the most unbeaten 69 runs for him. Dhawan returned to form with a 52-ball knock hitting six fours and a six while the in-form captain Iyer smashed a 33-ball 42 that included five fours.
