The trend towards electric vehicles is on the rise in India. With skyrising petrol and diesel prices around the world, people are increasingly turning to battery-powered cars or bikes. With this in mind, the Hyderabad-based automobile startup company Atum 1.0 has launched a new electric bike. The company has brought this electric bike to the market keeping in mind the middle class people of the country.
Powered by a lithium ion battery, the bike has a top speed of 25 kmph. This lithium ion battery of the bike takes 4 hours to be fully charged. According to the company, this battery consumes only 1 unit of electricity to be fully charged.
The company claims that once the battery is fully charged, the bike will be able to run up to 100 kilometers continuously. In other words, Atum 1.0 will give 100 km mileage if you consume only ₹8-10 of electricity. This electric bike has almost everything you need like classic look, LED lights, indicators. You don't need a license to ride this bike. The price of this electric bike made by the automobile company of Hyderabad is 50 thousand rupees.
