Stonis on one side and Agarwal on the opposite . The game is practically between two batsmen of two teams. just as Stonis played hard for Delhi in the face of danger, Mayank made a unique innings by keeping his head down to chase the run. Delhi got the victory in the tense match in the super over.
Punjab won the toss and elected to bat at the Dubai International Stadium. The very fact that there was nothing wrong with Lokesh Rahul's decision was proved in a short time. Prithvi Shaw, Dhawan and Hetmeyer went back one after another. then Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Panth managed to push a little but Mohammad Shami didn't allow them to settle down. Steinis scored half a century later. In the end, Delhi scored 156 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Punjab's Mohammad Shami took three wickets and Cottrell two
Kings XI Punjab got off to a good start by batting in reply. Lokesh Rahul made a quick run. But as soon as he returned, Punjab became desolate. Nair, Puran, Maxwell and Sarfaraz Khan were dismissed one after another. On the other hand, Ashwin gets small in hand while fielding. However, Opener Mayank Agarwal led the innings slowly for Punjab. His innings wasn't cheap at all.
However, he showed that it's possible to win the match (or take it to victory) by rotating the innings if necessary. At a time when it seemed that Punjab would win the match with a smile, Steinis took two wickets in the last two balls. Mayank was dismissed for 69 with one ball to spare. Jordan was out in the last ball. The match ended in a super over.
Puran and Rahul of Punjab batted first in the super over. But Punjab lost two wickets for just two runs in the super over. It was not clear why Mayank didn't play in the super over. Delhi picked up three runs in the super over with a smile.
