IPL 2020: In the 34th match of the 13th season of IPL, Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 5 wickets. This season, Delhi defeated Chennai for the second time. The team reached the top of the points table after winning 7 out of 9 matches. Shikhar Dhawan scored the first century in the IPL while playing an innings of 101 runs. For this he was voted Man of the Match.

Chennai won the toss and batting first gave a target of 180 runs. In response, Delhi Capitals won the match by scoring 185 wickets losing 5 wickets. Apart from Dhawan, Marcus Stoinis scored 24 and captain Shreyas Iyer scored 23 runs. Deepak Chahar took the most 2 wickets for Chennai. Du Plessis scored the highest total of 58 off 47 balls for the 16th FIFTY CSK in the IPL . This was his 16th fifty in the league. Apart from him, Ambati Rayudu scored 45, Watson 36 and Ravindra Jadeja scored 33 runs. At the same time, Delhi fast bowler Enrich Nortje took 2 wickets for 44 runs. Apart from him Kagiso Rabada and Tushar Deshpande got 1-1 wickets.

Chennai's score was 134 runs in the 17th over. Jadeja and Rayudu were at the crease. In the 18th over of Delhi's Tushar Pandey, they both added 13 runs. Rabada had 16 runs in the 19th over. Jadeja hit two sixes in the 20th over of Nortje. Jadeja and Rayudu shared a 50-run partnership for the 5th wicket off just 21 balls, taking Chennai's score to 170.

Captain Dhoni was the most expensive player in CSK's playing eleven. The team will give him Rs 15 crore a season. Dhoni scored 3 runs off 5 balls. At the same time, Deepak Chahar (80 lakh rupees) was the cheapest player of the team. He took 2 wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs.

Ravichandran Ashwin was the most expensive player in Delhi's playing XI. The team will give them Rs 7.75 crore a season. Ashwin gave 30 runs in 3 overs and did not get a single wicket. Tushar Deshpande was the team's cheapest player with Rs 20 lakhs. He took 1 wicket for 39 runs in 4 overs.
